Who is CVPoet for?
CVPoet is for job seekers who want a structured resume without managing document formatting by hand. It supports people starting from a blank draft, importing an existing CV, or keeping separate versions for different applications.
Why we built CVPoet
Job seekers often need a machine-readable layout and a role-specific version without rebuilding the document for every application. CVPoet keeps all four templates single-column, preserves selectable text in PDF exports, and lets the user review each suggested AI change.

Key features
Four ATS-friendly templates
Classic, Compact, Creative, and Bold are single-column templates with semantic sections and selectable text in the exported PDF. Classic is included on Free; the other three require a pass.
AI writing and tailoring
Free includes three successful AI writing actions per account, with no reset. A pass provides a shared allowance of 400 successful AI actions per week for writing, tailoring, imports, and AI cover letters. Tailoring leaves each suggested resume change for the user to accept or skip.
Resume import
Free includes one successful CV import per account across PDF, Word, text, and image files, including a scanned or photographed resume. A pass allows more imports within the shared weekly AI allowance, with scanned or photographed imports limited to 12 per day.
PDF and public links
PDF download has no watermark on every plan. Free includes one public resume page, while a pass allows a separate published link for each application.
Cover letter builder
Build and download a cover letter as a PDF on every plan. With a pass, CVPoet can draft it from the resume and job description for the user to edit.
User-controlled publishing
Drafts stay private to the signed-in user. A published resume is available to anyone with its URL, and the account owner can unpublish it or delete the account from settings.

All four templates use a single-column layout, semantic section structure, and selectable PDF text. Those choices support machine parsing, but CVPoet does not claim that a template can guarantee an outcome in every employer system.

Paste a job description in the editor and choose Tailor with AI. CVPoet suggests changes to the summary and work bullets using experience already present in the resume. The user accepts or skips each change.

PDF is the export format available today. It has selectable text, A4 sizing, and no watermark on Free or paid access. DOCX export is not currently available.

The website and account interface are in English. Resume section headings can be set to English or French, and imported resume text stays in its original language.

Yes. The cover letter builder and PDF download are available on every plan. A pass adds an AI draft based on the resume and job description, which the user can edit before export.

No. CVPoet does not scrape LinkedIn or connect to a LinkedIn account. A user can export a LinkedIn profile as a PDF and upload that file through the normal resume importer.

The account returns to Free. Resumes and drafts remain in the account, PDF download stays available without a watermark, and buying another pass restores pass features.
